Both are good. UPES is best for petroleum engineering mainly, but I don't know about other branches. But, specifically for CSE Manipal University is best.

UPES is better than Manipal, Jaipur. If you are getting CSE in MIT, Manipal then it will also be a good choice. But in comparison of MIT, Jaipur and UPES Dehradun, UPES will be a better choice.

For CSE, Manipal is a good option to compare with UPES. But go for Manipal only if you are getting the Manipal campus and not Jaipur or the other one. However, UPES should be your first preference for taking CSE as it is a better college in terms of curriculum, placements, and career progression.

From my opinion both of colleges are best for CSE but Manipal Jaipur offers 100% placements to students in reputed companies. The campus and faculty are good of both the colleges. Best of luck for your future and if any query feel free to ask.
