Which is better for engineering among Calcutta University and KGEC?

The University of Calcutta continues to be among the top 10 universities in the country, according to the NIRF rankings released by the HRD Ministry, Government of India. You will be glad to know that the University of Calcutta has got the fifth rank among all the general universities of the country (including both government and private), as per India Today (August 10, 2020) survey. The University is just below Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Hyderabad, Aligarh Muslim University and Osmania University and ahead of all other government and private universities of India. Kalyani Government Engineering College (KGEC) was established by government. Of West Bengal in the year 1995. KGEC is an autonomous institute affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam University of Technology (MAKAUT) formally West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). KGEC is among the top engineering colleges of West Bengal. It is one of the finest engineering institutes in the country, it is a community of learners, striving to educate the mind, nurture the spirit, and foster the development of whole individual. SO my first choice is University of Calcutta.
