Which is better for fashion design: Amity University or LPU?

Dear Applicant, In LPU, B. Design ( Fashion) programme provides students with extensive input in both the design and technology which is necessary to begin a career in fashion industry. As an option to choose among Amity university or LPU, I will prefer to go for LPU because LPU provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics, and colors. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity are fostered in the students at every step. Skill Development- In curricula, the focus is given on developing design thinking and intensive practical training through the exploration of courses like Elements of Design, Design process, illustration, garment construction, design process, etc. Thanks.

Well, I can give you my opinion about Lovely School of Fashion in LPU, LPU School of Design offers its students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to the fashion industry right from designing to merchandising. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics, and colors. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity are fostered in the students at every step. If you aspire to be the future designers, merchandisers and entrepreneurs. Fashion Technology Programme will work. Both the Universities are equally good. In fact, location of Amity University has an edge over location of LPU. Anyways, you must be congratulated that you are planning your career and doing comparison in one of the top Universities of India. Although, You can proceed your education from NIFD via qualifying UCEED exam or there are so many other prominent Institutes like in North India there is LPU. Lovely Professional University is located in Phagwara place nearby Jalandhar city of Punjab state. With provided best infrastructure to learn new extents in this profession they produce a quality experts within in the gestaion period of course duration. I have attended one of their Annual graduating Fashion show where students were the show stopper, models those were doing marvelous ramp walk and they were fashion designers also. What if you are a Native of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, or Chandigarh then preferably I would suggest you to go for LPU. Not just because of distance but LPU do have such potential to make you ready to take good opportunity in this profession in India as well as abroad. ! In LPU, Fashion technology is not only limited to garments or glamour inside the campus only. Students are getting exposure to garment manufacturing companies, fashion houses, export units etc. Providing good placements after the completion of their studies has become a good habit of LPU.

Hello Prachi, University is individually providing the best platforms for their student for their career but as per my experience LPU is the best. LPU has top placement record Infrastructure of Academics and cultural/sports, as these significant combination is needed for overall development of a student, further as per there feedback, LPU is having a great placement track record. Both of the universities are good at their own place. Here you need to do the comparison. A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself. LPU is anyway better for Fashion design with all equipped materials and experienced faculty members from top fashion institutes. LPU is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200 programmes. LPU has a beautiful campus with a great infrastructure with all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation and still working for more. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. It is a matter of concern for each student to get admission in the best university for a good career option. The recent visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in LPU to address the Indian Science Congress for new research and innovative ideas. The exposure, course curriculum, electives, trainings, diversity, infrastructure, course delivery, faculty, environment for creativity etc. Are few parameters on which a fashion design school must be chosen, LPU is far ahead of anyone in all these criteria. LPU in itself is a huge walled community, which has more than 30000 students and about 5000 staff members, this gives it a unique edge! That of entrepreneurship opportunities. No wonder it attracts students from all across the world for its courses. From jobs to entrepreneurship, LPU has everything going for it in Fashion design space. Go ahead and chose LPU to start your dream career.
