Since the inception of Entrepreneurship ventures, LPU has witnessed more than 300 start-ups. Placements: There are 365 days in a year and LPU has more 400 valuable placement drives in a year. Thus one can SEE even more than one placement drive in a single day at every alternate day. Previous year the highest annual package was INR 16.60 lacs by Khimji Ramdass LLC and average packages are around 5 lacs per annum.

Dear Sirisha, You can very well choose any ordinary university if you are looking for a MBA degree. However It is meant to be a professional job oriented programme. MBA is a highly sought after course since last 20 years in India, it comes in variety of sub types and flavors !
If you are in a deciding phase, choose your specialisation on basis of your interests, aptitude, personality traits, favorite subjects and aspirations. I was confused when I was looking for college for my post graduation. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU. Lpu gave me some extra edge so I joined LPU and this is the reality that LPU is really a great platform to pursue your studies. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say that it is a great university which every students are looking for.
