The Department of Management was established in the year 1979 with the aim of serving the growing need for qualified professionals who could harness the resources of the country to achieve its development goals. The department has continuously strived to achieve this aim by maintaining the highest standards in the Post Graduate (MBA) and Doctoral Programmes offered by it since its inception. Hi, XISS Ranchi is overall a good college under the Tier 2 category. However, I would suggest you to go for BIT Mesra as it is known for its MBA, and has an AAA+ rating which means good in term of placements, faculty & study environment. Further, some big names come for recruitment there. Amazon, Axis Bank, Blue Star, Cognizan, Ericsson India, Infosys, JSW Steel to name a few. For further detailed information, please go through the genuine student reviews who are currently studying there, in the following links below:- https://www.shiksha.com/college/xavier-institute-of-social-service-Ranchi-32029 and https://www.shiksha.com/mba/co

In XISS only PGDM courses are available. In BIT, Mesra
placement is good on-campus. More than 80% of the students got placed on the campus. Well-known companies visit the campus for placements like SB Life, Hyundai, ITC, Bajaj, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Mahindra Finance, Karvy, TATA AIG, and many more. The lowest salary offered is 3.5, and the highest is 7 LPA. Choose wisely. Goo Luck!
