Which is better for me- DCA or PGDCA? As I am in the 1st year of B.Com with computer application.

Hi Tanishka, PGDCA:- The Program includes Computer Languages such as C, C+, JAVA, Packages such as MS Office-Web Design, Oracle-VB, TALLY, MS Dos-Windows as operating system-system analysis & Data Processing. Course Duration is 1 Year and Eligibility for admission is graduation in any stream. DCA:- It is usually of six months but could be a year depending on the course curriculum and institution. It has been designed for aspirants who want to enhance their knowledge in the computer applications. Generally, this program imparts specialization in the following fields: Basics Computer Skills, MS Office applications, ERP basics, Internet basics, E-Business, Software hacking & IT security, PC assembly and troubleshooting, Software Engineering and the eligibility for this course is that you should have cleared 10+2. So you can go for DCA. Rest, I will suggest you first focus on your B. Com (IT), as it will include some of the subjects which you will have in DCA, but if you think that you are capable enough to handle both, then go ahead. Good luck.
