B.Sc. Does not considered is very tough even in mathematics because we have engineering courses too. If you regularly follow the classes and practice the problems then B.Sc. In mathematics would not be tough for you. As per the sources or experts say It depends upon the capability of your efforts on the stream you choose and it doesn't matter whether you choose private or government is not required.

I depends upon you, what is your interest if you love maths and you are getting government college then go. And i you have interest in technical course then go for b tech if you have money for private colleges. You will get placed if you study well in both. because after doing Bsc you have to do MSc also if you want good job. But in b tech you can get good job after 4 years only. So it completely dependent upon your choice.
All the best. -

There are many career options available after a B.Sc. (Hons. ). In math. With this degree, you can apply for jobs as a data anal...more

First of all the choice of your career totally depends upon what you want to be. But according to me you should go for Bsc ( Hons ) maths because B.Tech from private college requires heavy wallet without any confirmation of your job after completing the degree . As an mathematics student i am giving a basic view on my course . After graduation you will get to know numerous career opportunities in mathematics field like you can make your career in Data Analysis ,Actuarial Science ,IT Industry,in teaching ,in Investment Banking and what not .
