Which is better for mechanical engineering: LPU Jalandhar or Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore?

Being LPU alumni I would recommend B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, I am sharing my friend's review regarding this course, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently, he is working with XL Dynamics with a decent package. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your hard work, communication & presentation skills, and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-around development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. University organized International Go-kart Championship which is a student-initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. School of Mechanical Engineering organized an International Conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical Engineering (ICRAME), in which experts from leading brands like Maruti Suzuki, Biomimicry India were present. University gives you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one.

Dr Ambedkar University is a good university The LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics, and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) The course aims at enabling the student to Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools. He should have the ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. He should acquire the Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using a basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat transfer, and Fluid Mechanics. He should demonstrate the ability to propose cost-effective optimized solutions using simulated environments of Computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing, and computer-aided engineering. The highest salary package offered to mechanical branch students is 31 LPA, while the average salary is 4.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bosch, ONGC, Ashok Leyland, Hitachi, etc.

Dr. BR Ambedkar is a good university. Both the universities are doing good in the field of education.
