Both the institutes are best in their own place. If you're from the North east region then best option will be IMS Guwahati because the fee is less and affordable as compare with Delhi centre. In northeast, IMS-Guwahati is one of the oldest and top most coaching institute for preparing CAT and other MBA entrance exams like XAT MAT SNAP TISS, CMAT IIFT etc. They offer different courses for CAT 2019, as well as for CAT 2020. IMS Study materials and mock tests are all same.

I don't have any idea about IMS, Delhi but here in Guwahati the best coaching center for CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP and all kind of MBA entrance exams preparation is IMS, Guwahati. Its mentors are so good and help in every simCATs and guide the students for GD / PI rounds also.

I am from Guwahati. I have heard from my friends like IMS materials are too good. They teach more or less the same way like other coaching institutes. So, you can go for it. Learn the techniques in class and solve all the materials and handouts. For Delhi IMS, I have no idea.
