    Hi,
    Time and again we come across this question.
    IAS is the gateway to power whereas an MBA from IIM opens door to Dollar Salaries, working in Dream Companies and so on!
    Every year once the placements in these Centers of Excellence gets over, this question arises again. The reason is that the graduates from these institutes are offered start-up salaries which an IAS, IFS or IPS officer would make close to the end of a career spanning three decades.
    This salary imbalance often lead to uncomfortable situations. putting the student in a dilemma whether he should go for an MBA or a Career in Civil Services which is said to be the prestigiou

    IAS is not exactly a degree, like MBA.With MBA, you can become IAS. What counts is your ultimate achievement. With MBA, you can achieve to the maximum with your ambition. So, set a good ambition.Then, dream of it constantly and reach it.There lies your ultimate satisfaction. With IAS too, you can gain name, fame and a sense of fulfillment. The final solution is work.
