The CBSE syllabus is very structured, highly predictable and controlled. All national entrance examinations are conducted as per this syllabus. ICSE on the other hand is conducted by yet another board, CISCE or the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. It is similar to AISSE conducted by CBSE.

If you want better interpretation and understanding of any subject, then definitely ICSE is the better option to go for.

I am also from ICSE board and I think you should go for ICSE because it is better from CBSE board in terms of education, faculty and standard level.
    All the best!

The UP Board syllabus 2025-26 class 10 is different from CBSE and ICSE in terms of structure, language, and content. While many topics may be similar, the way they are taught and tested can be different. UP Board mainly follows the NCERT pattern but adapts it to the state board's requirements. Students who switch from CBSE or ICSE to UP Board may notice some changes. However, all boards aim to provide quality education and basic knowledge in each subject.
