which is better ielts and TOEFL???? any particular field they are required??

I agree with uncle sam that it toally depends on the university as well as country you are applying to. However, in Canada, IELTS is the preferred medium of examination. TOEFL is also accepted in Canada but never recommended.

HI,
taking IELTS or TOEFL also depends upon which university/Country you are applying to...For example in australia IELTS is preferred while Canadian universities demand TOEFL
