Which is better IIEST, Shibpur or BITS, Mesara academics wise?

Hi Ayushi, Both the colleges are esteemed institutions of engineering. BIT Mesra is having an edge over IIEST in the placements. However, IIEST has been given the status of an 'Institute of National Importance' recently, so it is at par with BIT Mesra in terms of academics. I would suggest you to go for BIT Mesra because of the environment and learning atmosphere there. It is the place for overall development and enhancing one's own set of skills.
