Which is better in terms of salary and demand- IT engineering or CSE?

    Dear Mohith,
    Both CSE and IT are software branches. So, after completing a Bachelor's degree from any of these branches you will get a job in a software company.
    Salary mainly depends on the organisation in which you will be selected but generally people prefer CSE branch as a comparison with IT. It is because company give preferences too to CS. So choose CSE branch.

    Both B.Tech CSE and B.Tech IT are similar Engineering branches with 80 to 90% overlap in syllabus. B Tech CSE is treated as a superior branch over B.Tech IT in Indian IT industry. CSE prepare students for System Programming role and IT prepares students for Application Development Programming. CSE grads can easily do Apps Programming but IT grads may find it difficult to be a system programmer without any training. CSE cut off in any entrance exams is higher in comparison to IT. CSE grads are always preferred over IT grads by recruiters. CSE grads have slight advantage over IT grads with respect to starting salaries. However in longer
