It is depends on what parameters do one compare both, Jaypee Universities seems a much better choice all in terms of placements as well as quality of education.

National Award for the highest Number of Companies: Limca Book of Records. CU has been ranked 1st Among Private Engineering Institutes of North India THE OUTLOOK. ; CU is NAAC A+ accredited, only few prestigious universities have this grade by NAAC. CU is definitely better over Jaypee. Thank you.

Hello Divyanshu CU holds the National Award for the highest Number of Companies: Limca Book of Records. CU has been ranked 1st Among Private Engineering Institutes of North India THE OUTLOOK. ; CU is NAAC A+ accredited, only few prestigious universities have this grade by NAAC. Chandigarh University is the one dear. There's no institute as compared the NAAC A+ accredited 'Chandigarh University'. Chandigarh University: established in year 2012 this private college offers 49 B.Tech courses and is considered very good for computer Science engineering. The college is UGC approved and has a grade'A+' NAAC accreditation ranking 42 in The week' 20 and 46 in Outlook'20. Chandigarh University (CU) has been awarded A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). CU scored a cumulative grade point average of 3.28 on a 4 point scale and has now become the country's first private university to get an A+ grade in the first cycle of the NAAC's accreditation process
Sanctity of The Hostels
The hostels being a part of the University premises deserve a sacred status. Use of bad and abusive language should be avoided within the hostel / University premises. Students are not permitted to keep-in-their possession, room crackers, dangerous weapons, firearms, contraband items or instruments that can cause serious injury to others. Students should not indulge in any illegal and/or unethical activity on the hostel premises. Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks and use of narcotic drugs in the hostel premises is strictly prohibited. Neither the students nor their visitors are allowed to bring or consume liquor, drugs, or any other intoxicants in the hostel premises. Severe action will be taken against those in possession of drugs or found under their influence. Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent. Moreover the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 290+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 70+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 36 LPA was offered by TOP Company.
