It is difficult to say which university is better as it depends on the individual's needs and preferences. Kurukshetra University and Pune University are both well-respected institutions in India, but they have different areas of expertise. Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 by the late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Initially known as Sanskrit University, Kurukshetra University has been accredited with an A+ by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

Infrastructure/Facilities:
Library: The central library known as Jawahar Lal Nehru (JLN) library comprises three blocks: Ranganathan Bhawan, Ram Prasad Bismil Golden Jubilee Reading Hall, and Savitri Bai Phule Block, which has a combined seating capacity of 1270.
Hostels: At present, there are 25 hostels on the sprawling campus of Kurukshetra University. The girl's hostels provide all important facilities within the complex. These include a common reading hall, an ATM, photocopy facilities, a common gym, a computer lab, and many more. Each hostel on the campus operates its mess, providing hygienic and nutritious meals with a varied menu.
Most of the hostels have common rooms, reading rooms, computer labs, and indoor and outdoor game facilities. The Kurukshetra University has also made available the facility for male hostelers to park their vehicles in the central parking lot near their hostels. The girls' hostels are also equipped with round-the-clock ambulance services and a dispensary.
Sports Complex: The Kurukshetra University organizes All India Inter-University Tournaments and International Tournaments, which include Korfball, Netball, Roller Skating, Boxing, Wrestling, Cycling, Waterpolo, Weight Lifting, and many more games.
Laboratories: A computer lab, a physics lab, and a research and training lab are available at Kurukshetra University.
Other Facilities: Seminar Room, Heritage Museum, Bank and ATM Facility, Post Office, Market, and Senate Hall are available at Kurukshetra University.
Placements:
The average package offered during Kurukshetra University Bachelor of Technology placements in 2023 has not been released. However, according to the Kurukshetra University National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) report 2023, the median package offered during Kurukshetra University undergraduate 4-year placements in 2022 stood at INR 4.2 lakh per annum. Earlier, the median package offered during Kurukshetra University undergraduate 4-year placements in 2021 and 2020 stood at INR 3.25 lakh per annum.
Savitribai Phule Pune University has released merit lists for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Certificate, and Integrated courses merit list in the months of August and September Pune University admission 2022 is on the basis of scores in the Online Entrance Exam exam. Admission to the Bachelor of Laws program is based on Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test Law marks, followed by Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test Law Counselling, which is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of the Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test Law 2022 result to manage the seat allotment process.
Infrastructure/Facilities:
Savitribai Phule Pune University library has a collection of 4,77,173 prints books, bound volumes of periodicals and theses, 5774 e-books, 4439 manuscripts, 5337 maps, 11363 specimens copies, 385 CDs, 5151 pamphlets, 110 clippings, 44 films, and many more.
Hostel: The University has a chain of seven Boys' hostels and six Girls' hostels providing accommodation to more than 1221 students. It also has a University Guest House, which is comfortable and well-furnished and has more than 34 rooms with dining facilities.
Sports Complex Facilities: Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Swimming Pool, Volleyball Court.
Available Facilities: Computer Lab, Language Lab.
Placements: UniPune placement report 2023 is not released. However, according to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) overall Nationa report 2023, the median package offered during UniPune Undergraduate 3-year and Postgraduate 2-year placements in 2022 stood at INR 4.5 Lakh Per Annum and INR 5 Lakh Per Annum, respectively.
