Which is better Lovely Professional University or Manipal University for CSE?

As I am a current student of LPU, so I can see the scope of getting place. It is actually a heaven for B.Tech one's. You should go through the portals once of both then opt for the right one. All the best.

Dear Rajesh, LPU is the Asia's largest university and provides many benefits to students in terms of fee, placements, faculty, international exposure and other areas. We provide scholarships on the basis of: (1) Percentage in Qualifying Exam NEST (2) 12th Percentage (3) Performance or Rank in National Level Test (4) Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards (5) Fee Concession for Defence, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Personnel and their dependents. Moreover, we have a good record in placements. Companies like Amazon, Trident, Oracle, Google, etc. Students got the average package about 4.5 lacs per annum and the maximum offered 28 lacs per annum. The curriculum incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. -PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: -Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) -Quantitative Aptitude Skills -Technical Aptitude Skills -Presentations and Soft Skills -Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ) LPU is a great platform for all the students especially B.Tech as the courses are highly beneficial. Hi, CSE is not an ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university is upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation. Placements: After all, it boils down to placements; the university must attract many companies for recruitment and offer good salaries. My experience tells me that LPU has excelled in all these parameters, way beyond any other private university. So, go for LPU. Thanks.

Greetings from Shiksha. As both institutes are among the best institutes. And, also for CSE both institutes are best in placements. But I will suggest you to do deep research or get reviews of current students of both institutes. Also, visit both institutes and experience the difference and find out the best for you.

Manipal University is the best institute to pursue CSE. It is top ranked private university to pursue CSE comparing to LPU. Manipal University has a good record of academics and placements.

Manipal is better than LPU because it is one of the top private institutions in India. It has also the eminence status from Central government and has good placement and education. So go for it.

Go ahead with LPU because they absolutely satisfied with the faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities. Placement is good in LPU. It is 89% approximately for B.Tech CSE. For CSE, it is 91%, EE and EEE, it is 81%. This year, the highest package for CSE is 16 Lacs and for ECE, 12 Lacs. One student got placed in Google, two in Yahoo, one in Microsoft and 8 got placed in Amazon. I LPU's campus is one of the largest campuses of India which is 650+ acres. The university consists of three libraries. The campus has its own hospital, hotel and a mall. The classes are well-designed and it is set with a projector and air-conditioner. The quality of food in the hostel mess is not good but we can opt for the outside mess. The hostel rooms are good and are available with AC and air cooler. The faculty members at LPU are good and well-experienced. They are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. There are 3500+ faculty members in LPU. The course curriculum is also helpful. LPU uses the latest technologies to enhance the ability of knowledge of students. On basis of this, I am sure you will be able to take a decision.
