I always advise that you should choose the course that is aligned with your interest. Choosing the right course as per your interest is more important. Now deciding which university to choose, you need to make sure you choose a university that caters to all your needs. CSE is not an ordinary programme. It is a highly resource-intensive, dynamic and difficult programme to run for the curators. You never know when some technology gets obsolete! The curators need to be equally dynamic as the industry is. It needs unflinching focus to run the programme according to industry. Very few universities have been able to recognize this dynamism and perfect the curriculum and its delivery for producing well-rounded professionals. Dear Sameeksha, If we consider a better university for CSE, then I will always prefer to choose CSE as one of my known also have studied at LPU. I am also an alumnus of LPU from the MBA programme. Here I would like to tell you about a few points for CSE which will help you to choose LPU for your CSE programme. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Though both the above universities stated are good in terms of academics but being an alumnus of LPU let me explain in detail. In India, CSE is one of the most demanding fields. The University has tie ups with variuos industries like Google, Intel, DellEMC, BOSCH, CISCO, VMware IT academy, PEGA, Automation Everywhere, CompTIA in order to keep the students in pace with the changing technological advances. Tie ups with industry also enables the content delivery by Industry Experts, Projects in Collaboration with Industry and Internships to provide practical hands on experience. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum. Not only this but The department also has a Microsoft Technical Club which is actively engaged in spreading tech awareness by hosting and conducting various tech talks and events by eminent speakers and fellow Microsoft Technical Club members. I don't know much about RVCE. As per my experience, LPU is the best place for a career. I have completed my CSE from the LPU in the year 2019. I have not faced any kind of disappointment at any phase. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with a good level of education then you should go for LPU. My Decision for LPU was the best decision of my life. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. LPU gave me an extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure, or other facilities. The best thing is LPU gives the career pathways like I was interested in placements and I opted then university gave me all required and important inputs and the result was my placement in a good MNC with Great Package. The maximum package was 31 Lacs per annum in that year. On another hand, my batchmates who were interested in higher studies than university gave all required inputs according to them. So in short LPU is actually Nourishing the students for a better future. Rest Haters are everywhere but LPU is the Best place for a good career as per my experience of 4 years over there.
