It is totally up to you if you are really interested in mechanical engineering go with it your skills matter if you are really good to perform your skills you will get good job but if you are average or below average in your skills it may be though to get a job
But if you less bothered about branch you can choose electronics and communication engineering because the opportunities are more compared to mechanical engineering
