    Dear Astha,
You have chosen a very good program. Now, whether to go with MBA or PGDM is very important to know. Astha, PGDM is a Diploma program, whereas, MBA is a degree program. Another difference is PGDM gives you more of a practical exposure and MBA is all about theory, even if I talk about IIM's they also provide the Diploma program because it is at par with the industry standards.
You can refer to the below-mentioned college link which can help you with more knowledge:

    Hi Astha,
The basic difference between MBA and PGDM is MBA is a degree course which is conducted by a university and PGDM is a Diploma course which is conducted by an institute.
PGDM in retails is a better course in today's scenario as PGDM provides more practical knowledge to the students than MBA course. Packages in PGDM course are higher than MBA course. PGDM also gives Opportunities for Internships, Guest lectures, Industrial visits, workshops, etc.
Some good colleges which offer PGDM courses are - Lal bahadur Shastri, JIMS-Rohini, DSB, Jaipuria, etc.
