You take up any as both would benefit you in their own ways. As far as syllabus is concerned, the course content varies from one college to another. A few key points-

Please remember that MBA is a post graduate degree and is offered by universities, whereas PGDM is post graduate diploma and is offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, and is equally accepted by corporates for job so you may pursue any of

MBAs are more affordable: In compared to PGDM, generally MBAs are more affordable as the fees is almost similar to university standard. You can get a rough idea if you compared the fees of IIM and FMS.

If you are looking at top business schools, PGDM or autonomous programmes are better. As an example take colleges like SP Jain, LIBA Chennai, Great Lakes Chennai, TAPMI Manipal they dont have MBA.
