MBA is a master degree while PGDM is a diploma so when you will apply for job, preference would be given to the candidates with MBA as they have much of practical and theoretical knowledge as compared to those of PGDM.

Technically speaking both are similar its just that PGDM are awarded by colleges apptoved by AICTE and MBA is offered by Universities approved by UGC. PGDM is equivalent to MBA so there is not much difference. So choose a college which has a good brand name and good industry interface dont worry about PGDM or MBA degree offered by them. Even IIMs offer you PGDM not MBA

Below mentioned are some of the top colleges offering MBA programme:

    2. Christ.
    3. DU.
    4. Geeta University.
    5. Amity Global.
    6. MSRIM.
    7. Mt. Carmel.
    8. St. Xavier Kolkata.
    9. AIMS.
    10. Madras Christian College.
    11. NMIMS.
