As I already told, there were few private colleges which hold automobile engineering degree and the present scenario of India doesn't have an opportunity for automobile engineering, so the Thumb Rule is to opt mechanical engineering. And, if you were looking for a government job after graduation, so it is better to join mechanical engineering, as it provides you an opportunity to sit in GATE examination through which you can go with PSU sectors also. If you are talking about India, I think we have a large scope of automobile engineers. The automobile sector is getting bigger day by day as many foreign car brands starting there manufacturing plants in India. The companies which already have there plant are planning to expand. Companies like Hyundai are exporting their vehicles which are manufactured here. Luxury brands like BMW, Mercedes and Audi are giving great importance to our country. All these reasons will create great opportunities for automobile engineers in India.

Hello, whether it's Automobile or any other branch, duration for Diploma is three years after 10th board. However as per National Education Policy, once a student gets admission, after 12th board, once the students complete two years, they will be entitled to receive diploma. Then they can either leave the course or continue the same for one or two more years, they will be entitled for higher recognition.

Best wishes

Quantum University is good for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, especially if you want practical learning along with theory. From a student point of view, I feel the mechanical department is strong and the teachers are supportive.

The university has all the important mechanical labs like workshop lab, fluid mechanics lab, thermal lab, strength of material lab, and machine lab. In these labs we get to work on real machines, tools, engines, and different mechanical equipment. Teachers guide us step by step, so even difficult topics become easy to understand.

The course covers all the main subjects like thermodynamics, manufacturing process,
