Dear Sameeeksha, Both MUJ (Manipal University Jaipur) and LPU (Lovely Professional University) are good and well-known private universities and doing well. Being alumni of LPU I would love to share some information about LPU with you. Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab is a multi-faculty institution offering 145+ programmes in various fields such as engineering. Pharmacy, law, architecture, fine arts, management, etc. In Regular and ODL mode, in a state-of-the-art hi-tech campus, that spreads across 600 acres of land. You can get a degree from a Diploma to a doctoral level. Commendable Placement: In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA. Hi, Choosing a university is a big decision and a very difficult task, as our career depends upon that. I would highly recommend LPU because of the following reasons. 1. Infrastructure: The University is spread over 600 acres which provide each and every facility to its students inside the campus. Well, considering education, well-equipped labs are designed with the experienced faculty and the lab assistants that make you excel in the study. 2. Faculty: Every semester, the syllabus is updated. The faculty members are available all the time of the week so that the student can approach any time of the week. LPU has lots of experienced faculty members specialised in certain fields that can help you boost the knowledge, help build up your projects, guide you in your pace of life, any personal or educational issues, etc. 3. Diversity: The University with the most diverse student population. Students from all across the world live in the hostel, which comes the closest to being 'a home away from home'. Hi, How do you compare universities? Here are some criteria: Curriculum: The curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback from the industry. Since IT/CSE is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a programme that is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now high tech-driven; the tech programme must have the exposure and training. The world-leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. , are necessary for any professional to succeed in a career. Industry interface: Ultimately, it's the industry that will immerse the students in the placements; the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits, and internships are a must-have in any tech programme. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days; personality, ethics, virtuousness, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc. , are essential. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As the world shrinks into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross-cultural teams with entirely different work cultures and ethos. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university. Talking about Lovely Professional University, I was a student of MBA here in LPU. I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU - 1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand. 2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here. 3) Placements - The University has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives. 5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus. 6) You will get an online system I. e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. 7) Security measures for girls - If your a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then you'll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers up to 07:30 probably. So if you don't enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for explanation and may be a call to your parents. While girls may not like this but Im sure their parents would surely do. But if you wanna live freely. There are plenty of PGs near University. Now decide whats best for you. But you'll be super safe inside the hostels than in PGs that's for sure. You can go to library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied with a guard from you hostel to library. Hospital, Mall, indoor stadium is also available inside the campus.

Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University I would say Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic, research, technology, exposures (both national and international), placements, accreditation, Curriculum Rigor and of course a conducive and diversified campus environment to live in. If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon. Lovely Professional university is best private university in india. LPU ranks 36 amongst top universities of india both government and private. LPU has three auditoriums - Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis (seating capacity 20000+), Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium (seating capacity 2500) and university Auditorium (seating capacity 350). These auditoriums are widely used to host the events of international and national repute. LPU is ranked 37th in the management programme by NIRF ranking 2021. The highest package offered for the management programme is Rs.19.25 LPA.
