Which is better NIT, Calicut (EEE) or BITS Goa (EC) in terms of placement wise?

BITS has Computer Science Engineering as its flagship course. However, for Electronics, it is at par with NIT Calicut in terms of placement. The average package offered for EC students at BITS Goa revolves around 8-9 LPA whereas that of NIT-Calicut is around 8 LPA. So, I guess both the colleges are at par with each other. 1. If you have interest in competitive programming and want to rank higher in the leaderboard. You can find several above average coders here and they all are budding so great chances of being in a competitive environment. Huge participation and representation in ACM-ICPC (4-5 teams in Amritapuri and 1 each in Kanpur and Kharagpur).

See, the best placement is of BITS-Goa and after that comes NIT-Calicut. But the average package of both has a lot more difference. BITS-Goa has an average pack of 3.25 LPA, whereas, NIT-Calicut offers 2.75 LPA only.
