Which is better NIT, Silchar or BITS, Pilani?

    If the fee structure is not an issue then BITS, Pilani offers much more than any NIT. Obviously, BITS is better but it also depends on the branch that you are getting.

    Hi Dhiru, BITS Pilani would be a better choice anyday if you are comparing with NIT, Silchar. The kind of flexibility in electives offered at BITS, Pilani is unmatchable. Even in terms of pedagogy, infrastructure or placements, BITS Pilani is on the top notch institution list. Moreover, the campus life that you get here at BITS Pilani is one of its kind. Its not just an engineering institute, its a place for overall holistic development of an individual. However, NIT Silchar is also a good college having the repo of institution of national importance, its just that BITS is a having an upper edge here. Any further queries are welcome. B
