PGDM and MBA have an equal status in our country. But some companies will look for a Master's degree rather than Post Graduate Diploma. The course is some what equal. The major difference comes when you get a job. The salary package for a MBA graduate will be more than that of a PGDM student. The difference is seen in major MNCs. PGDM students are sometimes given fewer opportunities as compared to MBA students.

Basically, there is no difference in PGDM or MBA. We are studying the same thing and the placements are same for both MBA and PGDM. The only difference is MBA students get a chance to do a semester exchange in international colleges where as PGDM students don't have that.

Both are the same thing but still if one evaluate it on priority basis then go for MBA because it would be a degree and PGDM is a Diploma.

I would suggest MBA in Alliance as it would be a degree and PGDM is a Diploma Degree.
