MBA has an old curriculum whereas PGDM keeps changing with time, and PGDM are equivalent to MBA if the college has AIU certificate

Both are different courses. MBA is affiliated by Bangalore university while PGDM is affiliated by AIMS Delhi. So both are good and both have their own value.

Technically there is not much difference in programme structure of PGDM and MBA. PGDM is equivalent to MBA. The difference between the two is PGDM is offered by AICTE approved colleges and MBA can be offered only by universities approved by UGC. The companies do not differentiate between the two so

Opt for PGDM if you are getting admission in a good (brand) college, or else MBA/MMS is the right option.
