    Hello Arijit,
    The basic difference between a PGDM programme and MBA is that the PGDM is offered by a private college while MBA can only be offered by a University. The choice should be based on the placement statistics provided by the college. If you go for jobs, then most of the descriptions state "MBA or Equivalent", here, PGDM is considered as equivalent to MBA (please check whether the college has accreditation and recognitions such as AIU. AIU recognised institutions provide MBA equivalent PGDM programs). The choice is yours, you can either go for PGDM or MBA, but please consider the placement records of the college before selecti
