Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune Chitkara are good universities. The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty and state of the art facilities that have left many NITs far behind. The b Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That are needed to build and solve problems using computers
The curriculum taught here is of international standard. One gets to learn from foreign and industry experts. There are provisions of international credits in some programmes where a student gets an opportunity to go abroad to study. Highlights
1. The CSE dept. Of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). The university has state of the art labs with the latest software to provide hands-on practical exposure to students.

CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Dear Aspirant, Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune, LPU Jalandhar, and Chitkara University are well-known private universities in India and doing very well in the educational sector. If I compare these universities for the B.Tech in CSE programme, then I would highly recommend LPU for this based on the following highlights:
The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 LPA. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India.
