Hi, In my opinion, you should go for Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology as it has better curriculum, quality education, and it as good as IIT and even older than IIT. The institute has been awarded with good ranks in the University Rankings for their better work and research. If you compare these two, for me, Thapar Institute is a clear win.

Hello Swati, Thapar University, Patiala is better than SRM University. In terms of rankings, Thapar ranks at 20th place in NIRF rankings 2018 while SRM is at 46th place. The placements at Thapar are more better when compared to SRM University. You can get good exposure, infrastructure and training at Thapar than at SRM. So considering all the above facts, you can go for Thapar University.
