When it comes to CSE, Chandigarh University has an been excellent because of its industry tie-ups and good placements. They have labs with Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM, so students don't just study theory but also work on the latest technologies. Specialized programs in AI, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing make learning super relevant to today's job market.
Placements here are really strong. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Dell, and Flipkart come here every year, and students get amazing salary packages. The university also has a training department that helps students with mock interviews, soft skills, and coding tests.

Chandigarh University is a good option but then you have other good universities across the country like SRM, Lovely Professional University, VIT, etc. Where also, you can try for admission or at least visit their campuses to make out the difference among them. Apart from the rankings and placements, the university is having very good infrastructure and highly qualified faculty. The university sees to this that the students are able to do well in placement...more -
Talking about CGC, it is college which comes under state university PTU on the other hand CU is a deemed university Est.2012. Both are quite different curriculum wise, marks distribution criteria is also quite different, CU gives CGPA where as you'll get percentage wise marks in PTU and much more, you will have to get admission in CGC through your rank in JEE Mains and in CU you can simply go and get admission. So from this fact you can have an idea of crowd you'll meet in CGC. CGC is much cheaper in terms of tuition fee from CU. Talking about the teaching staff and management staff it all falls under one group not much big difference...more
