    I will prefer UPES.
I didn't give the exam for IPU. I preferred UPES over IPU because placements are very good in UPES in comparison to IPU (in my knowledge).

UPES is a good choice for you because of its good infrastructure and faculty members and it has recently collaborated with companies like IBM, L&T, etc.

The above-mentioned question holds plenty of answers depending on the aspect of your query. But in total if one has to compare and decide which one holds better points, UPES stands out. IPU is a good college if you are looking to opt for Master degree too otherwise go for UPES.
