Hi, Both are very popular fields. You can join VLSI where only hardware knowledge is required. But if you are well versed with both Hardware and Software skills then of course joining Embedded field would be beneficial. After successful completion you will have a framework for evaluating, developing, implementing and integrating embedded systems software projects in this high demand field and will understand the role of embedded systems in the context of complex engineering systems.
