The number of Engineering colleges in India is very high. India is the home of engineering colleges and a variety of engineering courses are offered at different levels. Without any second thought IITs are the most premuim engineering institutions of India for any branch of engineering ut unfortunately it demands a high amount of hard work to crack it as the cut-offs are very high. But that doesn't mean that other prestigious engineering colleges in India are not worth it. They are no less than IITs in giving right education and best placements to the students. I am from Rajasthan and given from my personal experience, besides the IITs and NITs in India if we talk about the private institutions in India for engineering I would recommend JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur The quality of education, academics, facilities, knowledge, support you will get here is unbeateble and not less than any other prestigious engineering institution. The course curriculum provides enough support to have industrial exposure. Campus life: The sprawling 30-acres campus set in picturesque surroundings provides a refreshing environment for stimulating intellectual alertness and creativity. Hi Chandigarh University is the best college in terms of placement academics and all. Chandigarh university offers u N no. Of scholarships. U can apply for any of them. If u r eligible for it. 1)Recently Chandigarh university have started conducting entrance exam name CUSAT. Great scholarship will be given to the candidates according to their marks in the exam. Anyone can apply for CUSAT. 2)If u got 90+% in your 12 u are getting sharp 50% off on your semester fees. 3)If 85+% u get 40% scholarship on your semester fees. And, 4)Same goes for 80+% u get 30% off on year semester fees. 5)If you belong to Kashmir u do not have to pay any of the semester fees just 2000 Rs as (1000 examination fees+1000 as security) 6)Same applies for SC/ST belonging to Punjab.

I Had same question when I was seeking the place for my higher studies. I am an alumni of LPU and My real brother is also LPU passed out with CSE. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. Even my brother also is working at MNC with very good reputed brand those who are not able to achieve anything due to their own mistakes then Grapes are sour. You understand what I mean. Moreover, LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. Chandigarh university is fine choice in terms of private universities due to NAAC A+ accreditation, diamond rating along with good infrastructure for students. The University has successfully conducted 2021 placements for MBA programme. This year, over 210 multi-national companies participated from several sectors, such as Banking, E-Commerce, IT, Healthcare, Retail, Business Analytics, etc. The highest package offered by the Indian multinational for MBA touched Rs 18 LPA by Go Winning, while the highest international package of Rs 28 LPA was offered by Amazon, Berlin. Even during the pandemic, the University School of Business (USB) saw a jump of 20 per cent in placement offers while a surge of 15 per cent was registered in a number of companies visiting campus for placements in comparison to last year. Since its inception in 2015, it has provided placement opportunities to more than 80,000 students of North India with over 1,000 MNCs hiring students so far. Chandigarh University is the only University in India to register its name in Limca Book of Record (2017) for having the highest number of MNCs visiting its campus within just one year for the recruitment process.
