Which is costly LPU or Amity?

If I talk about cost LPU is not that costly because they give a lot of scholarship to their students. So I can't say that LPU is costly they give scholarship to deserving student and students can get scholarships on qualifying marks in the previous qualification or based on LPU NEST Sports scholarship, Defence personal dependant scholarship and some special scholarships like scholarships to disabled students and orphan students. According to the recent NIRF ranking LPU is ranked 62nd among all government and Private universities in India. LPU school of Law ranked among the top 25 law institutions in India. Lpu school of pharmacy ranked among the top 25 pharmacy institutions in India. Mittal school of Business ranked among the top 40 Management institution in India. LPU school of Architecture and design ranked among the top 15 architecture institutions in India. LPU Engineering Faculty ranked among the top 65 engineering institutions in India.

I know only about LPU because my nephew studies there. The fee for LPU ranges from programme to programme. The programmes with the maximum fee are MBA and B Tech CSE that is over Rs 1,90,000 per semester while the lowest fee per semester is for B.A. That is over Rs 50,000. These amounts should not discourage you from trying to seek admission at LPU because LPU offers a range of scholarships that can reduce the fee over 45 percent. The board toppers or the A+ sports category students can get education free of cost along with residential facilities. The LLPU organises a proctored test LPU NEST that gives one an opportunity to get a scholarship ranging from 20 percent to 45 percent. Just take the LPU NEST test, you might get a good scholarship. Hi Sameeksha, as far as fee at LPU is concerned. The student can get a waive through many means such as scholarships and financial aids. I will give you a list of scholarships and financial aids through which you can get a waive off so the you don't have to pay the full amount. Here is it. In a bid to owe the social responsibility towards the needy, the LPU offers a range of scholarships to the needy. You do not have to apply for a scholarship every time you pay the fee. What you get at the time of admission, continues till the course is over. However, the criteria is different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers and performing arts. If you are a board topper and someone from sports category and extra curricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extracurricular activities as the case may be. Otherwise if you have got scholarship through LPU NEST then you are not bound to maintain your academic or sports performance. There are other scholarships the university offers. I can share my experience as I am a passout of LPU and I did my Mechanical Engineering from LPU while my best friend chose Amity. Just the difference was in regards to the total fee ( usually high in case of Amity and more over no such good facilities at that price). I would say LPU was way reasonable as I could complete my B.Tech in 4 Lacs with accommodation but in Amity it costed him about approximately 10Lakhs. On top of that in LPU I had the benefit of earning valuable scholarships and multiple career centric opportunities like industrial exposure, live projects, floor job training and study abroad. All this as a package was a justified and genuine bid. In short my experience with LPU was a worthy investment experience.

It is a very tough question, Almost all the Private Universities across the country offer the course at almost similar fees but some might have less, the other might have more fees. As per my experience, LPU offers more than 200 courses. The university is value for money as it provides a good amount of opportunity and experiences to the students and appoint each student with a personal mentor, along with this lots of experts working 24*7 to mentor and to prepare for placements throughout the academic year. You may find it costly but as a existing student I must say It not, because the fest and concerts organises all around the corner in every year is for free. There are a number of student organizations releasing a great number of activities and competitions are conducted to enhance the speaking, sports, and art skills of the students of LPU and for that LPu cost nothing at all. I feel my fee for my course is very worthy when compared to other colleges addition to that I got scholarship for scoring good marks in the LPU NEST examination and the university provides good scholarship based on 12 class marks also.
