CEED is for post-graduation while UCEED is for graduation. I am not sure which one are you talking about. In any case, CEED/UCEED give you a rank after a single test. But it releases only a small list. Also since it is held by IITs which are more technical in nature, it may not be easy to clear. NIF

UCEED is easier to clear because of the availability of seats and colleges. NIFT has less seats to offer and hence it creates quite tough competition.

IIT Roorkee doesn't offer PhD in Design course through CEED. It only offers a MDes in Industrial Design. Admission to the M.Des programme will be based on CEED 2026 merit rank. The candidate will have to apply directly to the participating college once results are declared.

The candidate must note that IIT Bombay is only responsible for conducting the CEED Entrance exam. Unlike UCEED, it will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment.
