The students are groomed for bright professional careers by providing a wide range of exposure to theoretical as well as practical aspects of the law. The school organizes international conferences, visits by nationally acclaimed law practitioners to allow the students to gain skills and experience in the field of law. Students get real-time experiences through moot court competitions organized at national and international levels. Students completed their internship with Jalandhar Police Commissionerate and learned vital aspects of the handling of sensitive cases by police. Policing posits a host of challenges to the police personnel who have to strike a balance between competing values of individual freedom and the establishment of peace. Students were exposed to the saliency of weapon handling, undertaking patrolling and surveillance tasks, resolving general law and order issues by police as part of the duty. Students are groomed through internship exposure and individual-oriented mentoring for a bright career in the legal arena. Online Access to Manupatra in Library Seminars and Quiz held in Domain Mock Trial (Civil and Criminal) are being conducted in the Similar Manner as that of the Court Proceedings. Field Visit to Court, State Commissions and NGOs The course also includes Experiential Learning: 1. Regular Open House Discussions in order to generate awareness about contemporary issues to identify corresponding legal challenges and implications. 2. Hi, An organisation's choice relies on the different factors, for example, the foundation of a college, educational plan, Placements, Accreditation, Infrastructure Facilities, the most important, the knowledge and experience of the Faculty. The School of Law is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI), and BCI also provides its curriculum. Students have experienced internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses, and NGOs. LPU provides Experiential learning by Regular Open House Discussions to generate awareness about contemporary issues to identify corresponding legal challenges and implications. Effective learning, according to LPU, occurs outside of the classroom. As a result, students are motivated to augment their classroom learning by engaging in specially organized moot court and debate competitions. Moot Court contests held around the country have rewarded LPU Law students with awards. Moot court tournaments have also been held at the university on a national level. In addition, the department invites eminent guest lecturers from the legal profession, such as Advocate Rajiv Kumar, Advocate-On-Record (Supreme Court of India), to talk and encourage future lawyers. The aim of these guest lectures is to familiarise students with the intricacies of legal discourse. The School of Law is also known for hosting prestigious national and international conferences on a regular basis to provide academic support to students. One could make its own choice based o different needs and requirements but as per my knowledge, the law programmes in LPU are approved by Bar Council of India, School of Law is one of the best Law colleges in India and Punjab. To get direct admission B.A. LL.B. In Top Colleges, you should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks. Intermediate passed candidates can apply for an integrated course in law. The selection of the candidates is offered through written tests and interviews. But it varies from University to University. One of the pros of pursuing B.A. LL.B. Is the learning opportunities that prepare you to pursue a law profession in the corporate sector. Corporate sectors also include various distinguished law firms as well, where a graduate may receive a lucrative package. Although there are various Universities that offer this course, But I must advise one can go for University that offers this course with varies exposure, I. e. Lovely Professional University. For taking admission in LPU, students need to qualify in LPU NEST Exam. LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Eligibility & Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a National Level test conducted by LPU in Online Proctored mode this year.
