MBA is much beneficial, because of placement opportunities. I have seen many M.Tech students are struggling in finding a suitable job. There are many engineering students who are unemployed even after doing their PG from reputed Institutions. While on the other side if you are doing MBA from a reputed B-School than you have a lot of opportunities for employment through campus placement. If we see the batch profile of IIM-A and B for the year 2019-20, more than 88% of students are from engineering background doing the PGPX course there. So these figures are witnessing the importance of MBA courses.
