Which is more demanding among B.Tech IT and B.Tech mechanical engineering?

The choice must be made on the basis of your interests, aptitude, personality traits and aligning these with your aspirations. The role of your university is also important. Hi A lot depends on your interest. Both the branches are doing quite well in the industry. If you are more passionate about computers then you need to go for IT otherwise Mechanical would be a good option where in you learn about the mechanism of automobiles etc. You need ti check an institution with care. It should provide the best academics of labs, platform, faculty, exposure, placements etc. You can browse good colleges like SRM, BITs PILANI, LPU. LPU website clearly mentions the details of the streams like what topics will be taught to you. It also mentions the placements. You can browse their website to select your stream. Good Luck!

Both branches are equally good. Taking past data and future predication, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering has a slight edge over B.Tech IT in term of demand and opportunities.

The choice must be made on the basis of your interests, aptitude, personality traits and aligning these with your aspirations. The role of your university is also important.
