Hi dear, Both the branches are equally good and demanding as well in an industry. However mechanical engineering is having edge over the information technology engineering. The choice must be made on the basis of your interests, aptitude, personality traits and aligning these with your aspirations.

Both branches are equally good. Taking past data and future predication, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering has a slight edge over B.Tech IT in term of demand and opportunities.

Both are the top preferred branches in engineering. Most often and Mechanical Engineering turns out to be the primary option for students.
