Which is more preferable for LLB: Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad (SLS, Hyderabad) or Jagran Lakecity University and why?

The choice between would be depending on individual basis owing to the recent inception of courses. However, Jagran Lake City should not be much preferred for law as such because it is hardly recognised as a good legal institute as of now. Also, you won't find infrastructures specifically for law and also the university doesn't have any placement opportunities for law students as of now. The overall structure of the university might be good but that cannot be the sole basis for making a choice. Symbiosis Hyderabad is another institute in Symbiosis franchise and the Symbiosis has a very good reputation in terms of legal education as the SLS Pune is considered one of the best institutes for law. So looking from those prospective, SLS Hyderabad would be a better choice as in few years it would also have some good recruiters as the institute is specialised in law and thus special focus is there in law while the Jagran Lakecity is somewhat a traditional university and you will not get that level of legal education here. Also, the infrastructure and faculty members at SLS are good enough.

Hi, Symbiosis law School Hyderabad and Jagran Lakecity University are comparatively newer institutions. Looking at various parameters, I think Symbiosis Hyderabad should be preferred over Jagran Lakecity. It is because firstly, Symbiosis has an entrance exam of its own which is some way or the other affect the crowd which gets into the college. Secondly, Symbiosis Universities are very connected to each other so in terms of academics and faculty members, it is better than Jagran.

Dear aspirant, SLS HAIDRABAD is best law college. Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad has placement and training cell with a purpose to facilitate students with opportunities for internships and placement. Some NGOs, Advocates, Law Firms, and Corporate Houses such as All India Bengal Women Union, Aasraa Trust, BOSCO, Bhumi, Adv. Suresh Chandrashekhar, Adv. Rajesh Singh Chauhan, Garg & Garg Advocates, Khaitan & Co, Ibibo, JSR Tech recruited students from past over the years. One of the main reason for choose Symbiosis Law School was due to the outstanding placements record. With over 85% students placed in the year 2018/19, Symbiosis Law School offers the best end result for us. We had a summer internship that helped us gain some valuable experience. The institute also provides us with various seminars and workshops to help us prepare for the interviews during campus placements.

I think you should go with JLU because faculty members and education system is very good and it's the best college which is rated by various organizations.

Now coming to opportunities that you have after completing your law degree, Symbiosis Hyderabad provides you with better placement and internship opportunity. A lot of students from Symbiosis Hyderabad have interned and got placed at several top law firms and corporates. Comparing this with Jagran, students do not have these many opportunities before them. Therefore, I think Symbiosis Hyderabad is better than Jagran Lakecity. Hope this helps.

Hi, Both these colleges/universities are newly founded. But I would suggest you to go with Symbiosis Law School. Though this institution is new, founded in 2014, after the Symbiosis Law School-Pune, it has succeeded in inheriting its legacy. Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad since its establishment has always tried to develop its campus, facilities and placements. The placement cell at SLS Hyderabad is very active and is constantly looking for good career opportunities to its students. The top law firms, advocates and Corporate companies hire students from SLS for internships and placements. Aasra Trust, Amcha Ghar, Bachpan Bachao Andolan, Helpage India, Sankalp are few NGO's that provide for internships. Also, Ibibo, Schnieder, Pepsico are top companies that hire students from SLS. As many as 50-55 % students have done there internships in Nov 2016 which is quite a good number. On the other hand, the Jagran Lakecity University is yet to find a concrete stand, but the efforts taken by the institution are good. But Symbiosis, Hyderabad has been following the steps of Symbiosis, Pune and will remain on the similar grounds.
