Hello Yaseer, there is no difference in software engineering or computer engineering. IT, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering or Software engineering .all are same and have same curriculum. Most of the top-notch institutes have any of these branch .not all. This clearly signals that the difference between these branches is not significant enough to warrant their simultaneous presence on a campus, at least in the eyes of the top engineering colleges of the country.
Top colleges to pursue CSE/IT/ Software Engineering are are IITs, NITs and apart from these you can also consider IP University, BITS PIlani, UTM Shillong, UPES De

Depending on your particular skillset and area of interest, either may be lucrative. When comparing degrees, Computer Science students tend to focus on software, whereas Computer Engineering students learn more about hardware. That, as I alluded to previously, is a matter of personal interest. Review the course descriptions to see which ones are more manageable for you before applying for admission. After 12 years of study, the average student will need another 4 years to get a Bachelor's degree.

As far as potential earnings go, I SEE computer Science, which concentrates more on software, as a better than computer engineering, which may focus more on hardware. Computer Engineering, with its more conventional and applicable curriculum, strikes me as the more secure choice. If you're not interested in a particular aspect of computer Science, it might be difficult and discouraging. Furthermore, it is anticipated that those pursuing a Ph.D. in computer Science will be at the top of their game. If you want to earn a livelihood off of your creativity, I believe it's best to stay with what fascinates you. While being an expert in eith
