Without any bias towards any particular college, I will offer you my own perspective. It depends on your end goals or objectives. Most of the Engineering Colleges in India don't focus much on developing the overall personality of the student. Anyways Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working in Amazon with the highest package. During the time of my brother induction, I have seen a few students who got placed in the companies with a package of 42 LPA.
