Civil Engineering is the oldest and probably most crucial branches of engineering. Going by the definition of civil engineering, the subject can be defined as the study, design, development and maintenance of the built environment. Being alumni of Lovely Professional University, I must say to achieve the goal of becoming SUCCESSFUL Engineer, student must be backed up & prepared well by the professors with Industry driven curriculum. At LPU it is an engineering programme that articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental, Highway Engineering, Construction Management which are in sync with industry expectations. One needs an aggregate 60 percent with PCM in class 12. There are professionally trained faculty at LPU who impart both theoretical and practical knowledge for the holistic development of the students.
