Which is the best among LPU and CGC in terms of placements?

Initiatives taken by any University in terms of Placement of their students must be considered as prime parameter for selecting BEST university. Being an alumni of LPU, I must say that, LPU is always pro-active for providing the best placement opportunity to its student. Lovely Professional University is always concerned about all round development of the students. Because of LPUs approach towards equal priority focus to all the students of all the courses for their future career prospect in terms of Placement, LPU bagged the highest placement record almost 100% in all the courses. In terms of placement in 2020, it was really tough for all to proceed further. Its tough for a University who wants to promote its student to get excellent placement. Its tough for the companies also to take decision on the acquisition of excellent young talents. Thanks to the availability of advanced technologies, upgraded stuffs in LPU & since the students were well prepared by LPU to overcome any of the situations to achieve their final goal, Lovely Professional University managed to achieve excellent placement record as always by securing more than 7000 overall job offers, internships, training for its students. Every year more than 550 companies used to visit LPU for placement purpose. I don't know much about CGC but this is the most Common and important thing which usually being asked for every college or university. I have spent 4 years in LPU and yes of course I have been placed in good company with the handsome package. Honestly saying LPU has great role in this. When I joined LPU I was not good in speaking, presenting but LPU gave me all required inputs through PEP classes and Soft Skill Classes which actually groomed me. LPU has separate department of career services which help students in every step. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU.At Lovely Professional University, they do not talk about job placements, but career placements. As per students interest and inclination towards his or her career choice LPU provide career pathways and accordingly changes are done in the students curriculum based on the pathway being opted by students like:Corporate jobs. Government Jobs, Higher studies, Entrepreneurship and Research.

Dear Simran, Comparing other Universities with LPU, I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. CGC Landran is better considering the mentality of the students these days, they consider the college which has a good placement record. LPU's academic structure is good but when it comes to placement it lacks there. Recently some companies like cognizant started to recruit a large number of students. The opportunities for placement are better in CGC Landran. CGC LANDAN has 100% placement last year. The highest package last year was 45 lac per annum provided by adobe 100% of student gets placements in the college.
