This would be true for any university you enroll in. Now, Being a alumni of LPU I would like share my experience in Lovely Professional university. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. And this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). Till now thousand of students are placed at a very good package all around the world. Some of the alumni are working in the top 10 brands in the world. Recently, Tania Arora, a fourth-year B.Tech CSE student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) got selected as a software engineer in Microsoft with a huge salary package of Rs 42 Lacs per annum. Dear Simran, Comparing other Universities with LPU, I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. CGC Landran is better considering the mentality of the students these days, they consider the college which has a good placement record. LPU's academic structure is good but when it comes to placement it lacks there. Recently some companies like cognizant started to recruit a large number of students. The opportunities for placement are better in CGC Landran. CGC LANDAN has 100% placement last year. The highest package last year was 45 lac per annum provided by adobe 100% of student gets placements in the college.

<p>CGC University and LPU both are good and have very good reputations. I do not know much about CGC University but as an alumni of LPU. I can tell you the real facts of placements in LPU which I experienced while doing my post-graduation. Good Placements is one of the main goals of the LPU. I was worried about the same thing when I joined but later on, I understood the things. First of all LPU gives career pathways like whether a student is interested in placement higher studies or government sectors or entrepreneurship. So as per the interest and decision of student LPU gives the inputs. I chose the placement so I got special classes of personality development, soft skills, etc. and it really improved my performance in handling interviews, aptitude tests etc. Every year more than multinational companies came to LPU for placement drives, even I got campus placement at a very good package which boost my confidence. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Samsung, HDFC bank and many more visit every year for placements. In LPU, I really got the extra edge in everything.</p>
