For all branches, NIT-Trichy is better than VIT. NIT-Trichy is first among the NITs in India and very few people make the cut. Whereas, VIT literally gives admission in any branch if you pay more.

NIT, Trichy is considered to be the best college after top seven IITs. The opportunity provided in this college is one of the best offered in India. VIT will have to improve drastically to even be at par with NIT, Trichy. No comparison at all.
