Animation as a career option is a field where you can use your creative juices. Fulfill your dream of "enjoy-as-you-work", feel satisfied at the end of your day and get accolades from your clients. By 2015, the animation industry had matured in India and moved on from being just an outsourcing facility to a creator of original, indigenous intellectual property. There are more than 600 animation studios in India as of 2019, which are estimated to have employed more than 45,000 animation professionals. As per the FICCI KPMG reports, the industry is growing at CAGR of 22 per cent, followed by post-production at 15 per cent, animation production at 9 per cent and animation services at 1 per cent. Chaar Sahibzaade is a 2014 Punjabi language is considered as the watershed moment for this industry. The movie cost was Rs.20 crores and it earned Rs.70 crores globally!
This opened the floodgates of investments in VFX studios all across the country. We can SEE that the animation, VFX, gaming and comics (AVGC) sector of India is only set to grow further. As of now, 40,000 (8%) people out of 5 Lacs people in the media and entertainment sector are employed in the animation, VFX and gaming side. This figure is expected to rise to 90,000 by year 2021 and 4.4 Lacs by 2025. Work opportunities for quality animators and related professionals like graphic designer, character designers, multimedia developer, 3D modelers, and game developer, key frame animators, layout artists etc. Exists in following sectors at large-

These are just a few examples only. Opportunities exists both with government as well as private sector enterprises. Animation itself is an industry, and as industry its on boom. Several programs are offered like certificates, diplomas, and degrees etc. Since the field is creativity intensive, the ambiance, the culture and whole pedagogy must be such that creativity of students is used optimally. The field of animation has many verticals for example: graphic designing, visula effects, 3D animation, CG film making and etc. But the AAFT school of Animation is among the best animation institute in delhi ncr. This school is also Unreal Academic partner. According to the recent times the cutting edge technology provided by Epic Games Unreal Engine is ruling over the 3D industry and learning from a college which is already acedemic partner of unreal engine is a big advantage.

AAFT is the best institute for animation. I joined AAFT to learn animation and it turned out to be a great decision. The teachers are very helpful and have real industry experience. They explain every topic clearly and also give practical training on projects. The campus and labs are well-equipped with the latest software. I really learned a lot here and got good guidance for my career. If you are serious about making a career in animation, AAFT is the best place to study.
