Which is the best architectural college in India?

Hi Vishnu, It all depends on a number of factors. B.Arch is a particular branch of study that deals with the Planning and Designing of various types of buildings and their structures. The career opportunities for these Architects are very high due to the boom in the Infrastructure sector. We cannot say there is one best college for it but yes we do have many reputed Institutes in India offering B.Arch degree. The admission criteria also varies from college to college, university to university. Below mentioned is a list of good colleges: 1. SPA - Delhi. 2. CEPT – Ahmedabad. 3. JJ – Mumbai. 4. Lovely Professional University 5. B.S. Abdur Rahman University (BSAU) There are also stalwarts like: 1. IIT Kharagpur. 2. IIT Roorkee and 3. CCA - Chandigarh. Perhaps, due to their tough entrance I find they have amazing students, but not necessarily a progressive environment particularly for architecture However, they are great Institutions for a holistic learning. With the above pillars, there are some old and young colleges where you can see some good work happening: 1. KRVIA – Mumbai. 2. Sarvjanik College of Architecture – Surat. 3.
