Which is the best bachelors degree? i am in 12 commerce.i want to become IAS. please tell me which degree i have to prefer?

    Any Non-Technical degree will be best choice to preparation for IAS. I think, BA will be the better one. You need to be attentive with current affairs, aptitude, reasoning or, in many other streams.
    Preparation Tips:
    -> Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation. Solve all of these section's query every day.
    -> Speed and Time matters so, do not bother with really tough questions.
    -> Increase difficulty level slowly so, start from the lower one.
    -> Join Mock test series, good option for preparing Exam.

    Eligibility to become IAS-
    An Indian National Citizen
    A graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and
    In the age limit of 21-30 years
    So pick a relevant degree and proceed. You have not mentioned your academic details. However, there are several factors that need to be considered before choosing a particular stream after Class 12:
    Aptitude of the student
    Personal Interests
    Options for you-
    Science stream-
    B.E/B.TECH
    BCA or B.SC CS/IT
    B.SC (either of PCM/B subjects)
    Commerce stream-
    B.COM, B.B.A or B.B.M
    Bachelors in Accounting & Finance
    B.A Economics Honors
    Arts stream-
    B.A English
    Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication

    Arts would the best for IAS but in any case go through the course of IAS on UPSC website it has the list of subjects for the mains exam. then choose the subject. F or detailed answer you can email at voidlife@yahoo.com

    You are a commerce HSC holder. To pursue Civil Services Examination you can pursue any Arts & Commerce which is your favourite one. So, that you can pursue your Graduation with utmost interest. and become a specialist in that.
    B.A. (Public Admin) shall be most apt for the same.
